International Students

International admissions: Clarendon College is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant students.

International Students wishing to seek admission to our college must submit the following documentation before admittance to the college can be decided:

1)       Application for Admissions – The application should be submitted along with a $200 application fee no later than ninety days prior to the beginning of registration for any given semester.

2)      An official transcript for the last four years of secondary school.  The official transcript must be an original copy translated in English and must show each course completed and the grade earned.

3)      An official transcript from each college or university attended (translated in English).

4)      Proof of English Proficiency - If the student does not come from a country where English is considered the prominent language the student will be required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language.  An application and list of test centers that administer this test can be obtained by writing to: Test of English as a Foreign Language, Testing Service, P.O. Box 899, Princeton, New Jersey 08540, U.S.A.

5)      Statement of Financial Support - (Proof of financial support for the period of time necessary to complete the degree requirements.) This proof should be in the form of a letter from a bank that indicates the student is financially able to support him or herself.  If the student has a sponsor (parent, relative, business, or government agency), a statement from the sponsor stating their willingness to support the student during their period of study is needed along with the appropriate bank statement.

6)      Proof of insurance (medical and life) or purchase appropriate insurance.

7)      Complete an application for the dormitory and forward a $150 dormitory deposit. (All international students are required to live on campus) Please note no decisions can be made concerning international student admission without all of the above items being on file with the admissions office.
