The purpose of the Mathematics Department is to provide students with the necessary classes to complete degree requirements for the various majors and\or minors at Clarendon College and other educational institutions.

The Mathematics Program at Clarendon College is designed for students who plan to pursue a degree in Mathematics, Physical Science or Engineering at a four year college or university.

The student planning to follow this program should have completed courses in algebra, plane geometry and trigonometry prior to starting the listed curriculum. Students without the sufficient background may have problems in the college courses and may require remediation which will delay their completion of the goals.

Upon completion of the prescribed courses, the student will be eligible to graduate from Clarendon College with an Associate in Science Degree.
