Carving Pumpkins with Clarendon Elementary Second Graders - October 26, 2011

The Clarendon College Cheer Team supports all athletic teams through cheering at games, events, community service programs and other campus activities. They are the ambassadors of the CC Athletic Department. The co-ed team is involved in not just the athletic activities but are the showcase of the college participating in a variety of events in and around the panhandle.

The CC Cheer Squad is the heart of the Athletic Department. Being a proud part of the Clarendon College Cheerleading Program is more than just a year-round commitment. It means dedication from each member to maintain the school spirit of the students, alumni, and the fans.

The teams that the Cheerleaders support play in the best Junior College Conference in the Nation, the Western Junior College Athletic Conference labeled the “Pipeline to the Big Time”. This conference has more National Tournament “Top 20” finishes than any other in the NJCAA.

The Cheer Squad attracts dynamic and enthusiastic members from all over the United States. The squad is featured in events throughout the college and community as well as the panhandle of the great state of Texas.

Some of the advantages to being a Bulldog Cheerleader are the scholarships awarded to every team member, low cost education, friendly small campus atmosphere, numerous campus organizations, and travel opportunities. Clarendon College is easily accessible off Highway 287 between Amarillo and Fort Worth.
