CC Athletic Department announces the newest addition to the athletic staff. The new Cheer Coach for the CC Cheerleader Squad is Kim Layton. “I am so excited to have Kim accept the Cheer Coach position. She has the enthusiasm and motivation to take the squad to the next level.” states AD John Green. “I was so glad to have to look no farther than our own campus to find the person to lead the Cheer Squad into the new vision we have for the young ladies.” adds John Green The 15 member squad will be arriving early in preparation of the students move in to decorate and prepare for an excited and fun filled semester. We will be directing these young ladies to be strong ambassadors for the college. They will be featured at upcoming events around the Panhandle of Texas. The new vision will be for the squad is not only to be a part of the athletic events, but to be the face of the college in participation in local and area events. Ms. Layton has recruited 19 outstanding cheerleaders and is already organizing activities surrounding the upcoming events at Clarendon College.
