Entering his first year as Clarendon College's Athletic Director and Golf Coach, John Green has seen and been responsible for many athletic and academic successes in his career in collegiate sports. Under his direction athletic teams continue to elevate in athletic competition at the conference, region and national level.

In his14 year history as a Athletic Director his athletic departments have accumulated 29 NJCAAآ  All-Americans, 36 NJCAA Academic All-Americans and 3 top NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year. He has seen his teams produce 15 NJCAA National Tournament appearances and many more Region V and WJCAC Conference Championships.

This year marks his 5th year as a golf coach. He has recruited and coached teams of top-quality golfers from both national and international student athletes to compete in a nationally ranked golf program, He has enjoyed 4 trips to the NJCAA National Golf Tournament and has been ranked in the Top 20 in the nation every year.

Coach Green is well networked and has had a great track record at getting athletes elevated to the 4 year college and university level receiving numerous scholarships to continue their education and athletic career in NAIA or NCAA competition.

In 2009, John Green was awarded the prestigious NJCAA Loyalty Award for his dedication and success at the NJCAA level. In addition to his responsibilities as AD and Golf Coach he is also the Conference Commissioner of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference a position he has held for 16 years. In 2008 he was named to the NJCAA Board of Directors and is the Director of Men's Sports for Region V the most powerful and successful region in the NJCAA.

Green has a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He is married to Becky Green and has two children Dallas and Becca.
