Library Services
Print Collection Students have access to over 690,000 titles through the Harrington Library Consortium (HLC) at http://www.hlc-lib/org.  This service is available through the cooperative agreement with more than forty-eight academic, public and school libraries in the Texas Panhandle.  Through the TexShare Library Card Program, students have access to over 160 college and university libraries that participate in this resource sharing program.    In addition to the print collection, students have access to over 19,000 e-books made available through the TexShare database.

Magazines The library subscribes to over 97 magazines and ten newspapers, and receives numerous complimentary popular magazine titles.   Magazines, journals and newspapers are also available through the TexShare on-line database.

Audiovisual Collection The library has a growing collection of videos and compact discs. Videos may be checked out for three days, and compact discs are checked out for 1 week.

On-Line Catalog The on-line catalog is a shared database that consist of over 50 academic, public and school libraries.  Library users are able to view the collections of all the libraries and request material not found in the college library or the Clarendon Public library.  The catalog may be searched using author, title, subject, periodical title, and words or phrase.  The catalog has the ability to search all of the libraries in the consortia or one particular library, and once you have entered your search term(s), the computer will automatically generate a list of related titles for further research.
