Library Instruction
|
The Library offers Library Instruction (LI) sessions that are designed to acquaint students in the use of library resources needed for course work and research, and to help them develop information literacy skills. LI Sessions are taught in the library, and provides an introduction to locating and using library materials, on-line database demonstrations, and an explanation of the library's system of organizing material. Individual and course related sessions are available upon request. LI sessions may be scheduled by calling Jewel Houston, (806) 874-3571 ext. 116 - 800-687-9737, or e-mail your request by clicking Jewel Houston under Ask-A-Librarian on the library home page. Please include your name, date, time, telephone number, and what specific database and/or resource you would like to have demonstrated.
