Refund Policy

Clarendon College, as soon as practicable, shall refund tuition and mandatory fees collected for courses from which the student drops or withdraws. Clarendon College, as soon as practicable, shall refund tuition and mandatory fees collected for courses from which the student drops or withdraws.

1. 1. For semester-length courses for which semester credit hours are awarded:
   1. a. 100% refund is to be made for courses dropped prior to the first class day.
   2. b. During the fall or spring semester or comparable trimester:
      1. i. during the first fifteen class days, 70%
      2. ii. during the sixteenth through twentieth class days, 25%
      3. iii. after the twentieth class day, none.

      c. Six-week summer semester:

      1. i. during the first five class days, 70%
      2. ii. during the sixth and seventh class days, 25%
      3. iii. after the seventh class day, none.
2. 2. For non-semester-length courses with a census date other than the 12th class day (4th class day for a six-week summer semester):
   1. a. Prior to the first class day, 100%
   2. b. After classes begin, see table below:

Tuition and fees paid directly to Clarendon College by a sponsor, donor, or scholarship shall be refunded to the source rather than directly to the student. The refund for all students receiving Title IV financial aid will be based on the last date of attendance and must be allocated in the following order: Federal Loans, Federal Pell Grant Program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program, and Student. All other refunds will be made in accordance with the stated refund policy.
