Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosure

State Authorization of Distance Learning Program

Clarendon College is a member of the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA); therefore, we are authorized to provide distance learning courses to students whose official residence is located in a U.S. State or Territory which is outside the State of Texas.

SARA is a voluntary agreement among member states, districts and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education courses and programs, and is overseen by a National Council and administered by the four regional education compacts (Midwestern Higher Education Compact, New England Board of Higher Education, Southern Regional Education Board, and the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education).

Federal Licensure

For academic programs that may reasonably be assumed to lead to professional licensure, these disclosures indicate, as of July 2020, the states where Clarendon College has determined through reasonable, good-faith effort that such programs:

Do meet the applicable professional licensure education requirements;
Do not meet the applicable professional licensure education requirements; or
Have not been able to be identified as meeting the applicable professional licensure education requirements.
