Cosmetology is more than cutting hair… It is a profession that will tap into and develop every talent you possess and is only the first step in shaping your destiny.
Our Cosmetology Technology Programs at Clarendon College offer theory and practical instruction designed to prepare you for employment as a licensed cosmetologist.
Cosmetology Programing is offered in Amarillo, Pampa, and Childress and each location at Clarendon College is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Admissions requirements for Cosmetology
The general admissions requirements are as follows:
- Final official HS transcript or high school equivalency (GED) - Must contain name
and graduation date. Send high school transcript to admissions@clarendoncollege.edu.
- College transcripts (if you’ve attended college, from every college you’ve attended at) – unofficial copies are acceptable for registration purposes but the official copies must be received before the end of the first semester of attendance. **Please note that while unofficial copies are accepted, financial aid must have official copies before any aid can be awarded**
- Bacterial meningitis immunization (2 dose series) – only required for students under 22 years of age.
