The Clarendon College Industrial Maintenance program is designed to teach students the core, industry-specific competencies and allow them to become well-rounded skilled maintenance workers in a variety of fields.

If you enjoy a hands-on approach and are interested in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing and industrial settings.  Industrial Maintenance training is the right choice for you.

The industrial maintenance program is designed to teach a wide variety of skills that can be applied to technical careers such as in HVAC, oil & gas, wind energy, manufacturing, and electrical maintenance. Some of the skills you can learn are:

  • Soldering
  • Electrical circuits & calculations
  • Motor installation & controls
  • Shop & industry math
  • Process controls
  • Blueprint symbols & P&ID basics
  • Hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting
  • Pneumatic controls
  • Precision measurement
  • Laser shaft alignment
  • PLC programming
