Role of the Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate serves as the voice of Clarendon College faculty in shaping policies related to academics and institutional governance. The group is composed of around faculty members, with representation distributed among the various academic colleges.
The Senate reviews matters that affect faculty and works to ensure that faculty viewpoints are considered before major decisions are made.
Because the Senate is charged with considering any written recommendation from faculty members, as well as addressing broad academic and policy issues, its work spans a wide range of topics. Faculty are encouraged to reach out to any senator with questions or concerns about University policies or procedures.
