Welcome New Bulldogs!
Meet your professors and college staff, learn about campus life, make new friends, and prepare for an awesome time as a CC Bulldog! Fun activities, great food, and informative sessions will provide a solid start to your year!
What you can expect at Orientation:
- Learning Frameworks- Preparing you for college success. You may not know what you don't know, and these sessions will give you the answers you need. (Students will earn 1 semester hour of college credit).
- TSI Assessment boot camps and testing provided. It is preferred that students take the TSI Assessment prior to arrival. Classes can fill up, so waiting until orientation to take the TSI Assessment may limit the classes the student can take. Go to our testing webpage for information about setting up your TSI testing session.
- Finalize admissions and registration details.
- Learn to navigate the campus.
- Find out about campus and community resources.
- Enjoy social activities and other fun stuff!
- Parents/guardians can join us for special events on Tuesday/Wednesday to celebrate your transition to life at CC (onsite housing accommodations not provided for parents/guardians).
All new students who will be living on-campus must submit the New Student Orientation Attendance Form. Click here to complete and submit the form.
New Student Orientation is mandatory only for students living on the main campus, but local commuter students attending on the main campus are welcome too. Commuters, if you plan to attend orientation, please complete the New Student Orientation Form above to let us know you will be joining us.
Orientation is not required for commuter students, online students, or students entering dual credit classes.
