About
Dr. Rodney Donahue is Associate Professor of Drama at Clarendon College. He recruits
students into the Drama program and supervises all events in the Harned Sisters Auditorium.
He has directed multiple plays including A Doll House, Marriage Is Murder, A Charlie
Brown Christmas, and Dulcitius. He has also written and directed his own plays including Clean and Red
Tape. He holds degrees from Texas Tech University, University of Missouri-Kansas City,
and Culver-Stockton College.
Dr. Donahue serves Clarendon College as chair of the professional development committee,
Amarillo College Educational Summit liaison, Phi Theta Kappa advisor, and part of
the faculty rank and curriculum committees. He serves the community as part of Clarendon
College’s Service Day Committee (for which the committee won a Texans Caring for Texans
Award in 2022), as a member of the board of directors of Sharing Hope Ministry, and
as a volunteer member of Texas Department of Criminal Justice teaching collegiate
courses to offenders seeking a second chance in life.
