Women’s Basketball has once again qualified for the Region V Tournament and will begin Quarterfinal play Wednesday, March 11th on the campus of Odessa College in Odessa, TX.
The Bulldogs come into the Tournament as the #8 ranked team in the country and as the #1 seed from the West. The WJCAC Champions will take on the #4 seed from the North Hill College.
“Hill College will certainly be a challenge and we have our work cut out for us on Wednesday” Head Women’s Basketball Coach Mark James said. “You don’t luck into the Region Tournament. All eight teams that qualify for this tournament are high quality teams and anyone of them can win the whole tournament”.
“I know they won’t care about our national ranking or being conference champions” James continued. “We will get Hill’s best shot and we need to be prepared for a battle”.
