Clarendon College Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) II
DUE TOMORROW JANUARY 28th by 3:00 PM CDT

Clarendon College will begin accepting applications for the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSSA) grant on January 27, 2021. These grants will provide direct financial support to students impacted by the coronavirus and COVID-19. The application will remain open for 2 business days; it will close at 3:00 PM on 01/28/2021. Funds will be dispersed after the application has closed and applicants have been verified. This will begin taking place on January 29, 2021. Grant amounts will be determined at that time and you will be notified by email.

 

HEERF II funds under CRRSAA will allow students to use this grant for any component of their cost of attendance or emergency costs due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, healthcare (including mental healthcare), or childcare.

ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have completed a 2020-2021 FAFSA to determine need.
  • Must not be in High School or an offender residing in TDCJ Roach or Jordan Unit.
  • Be a US Citizen or eligible noncitizen and have a valid social security number.
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or completion of high school in an approved homeschool setting.
  • Must be making satisfactory academic progress.
  • Must be submitted by 3:00 P.M. on 01/28/2021

The online application is a short form asking for name, home address, phone #, and students Bulldog ID number (exclude zeros in front). The form includes boxes for applicants to check indicating what financial needs they have that are related to the coronavirus.

Students will have 2 days to complete and submit the form. Once the applications are verified and grant amounts are determined, the Clarendon College business office will send the funds directly to the students by chosen method of disbursement in their student portal.
