STUDENT RECORDS
Your records pertaining to directory information and education are kept by the Office of the Registrar.
According to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), education records are those records that relate directly to your academic progress maintained by the institution.
If a student wants to review his/her records, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy
Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended, seeks to guarantee both a student's right of access
to records and the confidentiality of student information. In accordance with federal
law and College policy, we generally will not share student academic information (apart
from directory information) with third parties, including parents or spouses, without
student consent.
School officials, who act in a student's educational interest within the limitations of their need to know, have access to a student's records without the student's prior written consent.
Questions regarding student records and access to them should be directed to the Office of the Registrar. (806) 874-4804.
