The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has established guidelines for admitting students to dual credit programs
Dual Credit is regulated by both the Texas Higher Education
Coordinating Board and Clarendon College policies. To be eligible for
dual credit a student must:
- Comply with Texas Success Initiative testing requirements concerning eligibility based on testing. Tests that may be used to determine eligibility for dual credit are TSIA (taken prior to January 11, 2021), TSIA2 (taken January 11, 2021 or after), STAAR EOC, ACT, and SAT. (Note: STAAR EOC may be used only to determine eligibility for dual credit students and cannot be used for those who have graduated high school)
- Meet established entrance requirements to Clarendon College as well as appropriate prerequisites for any course.
- Complete an Application for Admission to Clarendon College.
